Pan-African Hour: Nuits D'Afriques 2010 (July 14, 2010)

Every summer Montreal hosts Nuits D'Afrique, a festival of Afican music, and every year Sasparilla and Sassafrass get to go and check out shows for free so they can say how great they are (the shows). This year we is hyped for Konono No.1 and Sierra Leone Refugee All-Stars, but also some other cool acts like Hindi Zahara and Kinobe. In this episode of the PAH Sassafrass pretends to be Lamine Fellah, who we interviewed without a recorder, once again demonstrating our professionalism. He is playing the festival with his group, the project being called Sarazino. We were also supposed to interview Kinobe (pronounced Chinobe), but for some reason he didn't answer the phone, which is too bad cus we wanted to call him Obi 1 Chinobe. Oh, and we talk to a goat that smokes a pipe.
Konono No 1 - Mama Na Bana
Tiken Jah Fakoly - Plus Jamais Ca
Sarazino - One Big World
Sierra Leone's Refugee All Stars - Global Threat
Kinobe & Soul Beat Africa - Abataka
Sierra Leone's Refugee All Stars - Goat Smoke Pipe
